The bill that came out of the senate contains a provision to limit the flexible benefit deduction to $2500. I had $6,000 taken out of my paycheck in 2009 and want to do the same in 2010. If they pass the bill that is a difference of $3,500 additional income(less deductions)which in say a 30% tax bracket means an additional tax of over $1,000. Mr. Obama guaranteed me that no new taxes on less than $250,000! Looks like a tax increase to me! Has Obama read the bill? He is reneging on his promise.sl
