On health care: We cover our employees with company paid health care. They have the option of adding their families to the plan for only $300 a month. And our prevailing hourly wage rate is $20.00 per hour. So do the younger employees do it? NO! They choose the fatter paycheck over taking care of their families. Most of the proposals I have seen on health care would ask us running a business to pick up that tab. Ridiculous. If an employee won't cover his own family when he can afford it, why should we (employers) have to when we are already taxed to the hilt by local, county, state and federal government. Too bad our fearless leaders get out of law school, go to work in government, and never even desire to run an enterprise. Ban lawyers from being legislators and politicians and this would be a better country for all.
