I ran across my manual Smith Corona portable (in case) a few months ago. I banged out many school papers on that baby! Feeling nostalgic, I thought it would be cool to find ribbon for it and use it for cards and personal letters. A friend's husband buys props for the theater, he directed me to a store in Kansas City which sells ribbon for old typewriters. Ribbon is still available in several colors. Viva typewriters!

Benefits for national defense costs are proportional to income????? A person making $60,000 GETS TWICE THE BENEFITS from the armed forces as someone making $30,000???? Your missed article on redistribution of wealth should have stayed missed. It's not worth the time to read it unless it (at the least) allocates this large cost evenly across all income levels.
