    Fiat Returning to America

Lost in the headlines about the Chrysler bankruptcy and Fiat purchase is that Fiat says it will use this to return to the North American market for its Fiat and Alfa brands.   It is already here with the Ferrari brand, but it wants a piece of the American mass market.

FIAT, Fix It Again Tony. A great marriage between two cruddy car lines and majority UAW ownership. Sounds like a success story to me:).

No one seems to be reporting on the fact that thousands of employees at Chrysler Financial will be losing their jobs over this so called "strategic" bankruptcy filing of Chrysler.

Anything to save Chrysler...it's personal with me. It made my life a lot brighter - education, travel, interesting hobbies, health insurance for a sickly child (me)...thanks, Dad. My uncle is currently laid off from Chrysler, he can retire in four months. I wish the Fiat Chrysler merger much success and prosperity.

The cars Fiat offered here in the 60's were crap, I mean really bad. Anyone out there know about anything their present product?
