I get about an extra $50 every two weeks. Works for me since I usually get a sizeable tax refund every year as I take no withholding deductions so my refund is bigger. It is nice to have a little extra net in my pocket now. It is strange to get a tax cut from a Democrat, but I am sure it won’t last long and so once again, the world will be set right and we can all go back to the way things should be

Are you kidding? I live in California, which by definition makes me “Rich”. There is no change in my withholding.

A total scam that the American public is tired of…$40 extra this month…time to cut welfare; free education programs, food stamps, limit the number of children anyone has who receives govt payments and trim the fat from special interest pork projects. We’ve reached a critical tipping point. And how are we exactly going to fix social security?
Hmmm…time to toss the whole crew out and start fresh–it can’t get any worse.

Howdy-
Quick question. This tax cut sounds like they just changed the withholding tables. Did they change the median tax rates at all? Or are they playing fast and loose with deductions that most people will not qualify for? Will most people have a surprise tax bill waiting for them next year?

I see an extra $76.00 a month. Only problem with this is, by my employer decreasing the amount of tax being withheld from my paychecks this year, it only increases the amount of taxes I will owe our “growoing” government next year on April 15, 2010. I hope they don’t think we actually buying into this farce.
