    Notice Any Extra Money?

The "middle class tax cut" talked up for 95% of Americans should now begin appearing in paychecks.

Given the level of publicity this is receiving, I am trying to follow the story and make sure the impact is actually happening and people are seeing more money.   One viewer told me she noticed $9 extra in her check this week.

So if any of you notice less Federal withholding taken from your checks (net more money) let me know.   You can write in the comments section.

Not looking to know salaries, etc ... just want to make sure these tax cuts are happening and how much extra people are receiving.

Good luck and happy tax day!

My company changed its tax tables a couple of weeks ago. Changed people's take-home pay by 5-15 dollars per week (depending on the number of exemptions they claimed).

What a fraud, Obama has merely adjusted the witholding tables so that you will have more money in your paycheck, but you will have to pay more next year at tax time. DG

I got a change of over $33 this month. A little help but I won't go and save the economy with it.

I am taking home an extra $8.42 a week. Don't spend it all in one place, people!

Nothing in mine - and I'd have to increase my witholdings anyway in order to avoid a penalty even if there was one.

No tax cut for me. Apparently I am part of the rich or the 5% that don't get tax relief. I make nowhere near the $250,000 often used as the cut off. A recent article in my local newspaper reported the cut off is actually $95,000. In any case, I suppose I should be happy...I am RICH...

So far nothing

My check went up $30 every 2 weeks. My wife's check also went up about $35 every two weeks. Of course, when it comes time to do our taxes next year, we will have to give it all back, because we are not "hard working Americans" who deserve a break. Nope, our AGI will be too high. Apparently a family making over $150,000 a year now belongs to the "lucky rich" demographic. Never mind the fact that my wife and I have busted our tails for years. That doesn't matter. Our success must be punished.

I noticed mine the first pay period in early March. Strange timing as I was expecting it in early spring (April).

Brian - Everyone who is eligible should receive about the same amount, it's based on single ($400.00) or joint (married couple = $800.00). I'm not positive about the money amount, but I'm pretty sure it's $400.00/$800.00.

No change for me Brian!

Yea - That extra $10 a week will help with the college tuition bill. Thank you to all the crooks on wall st, capitol hill and the white house.
