And the NCAA Tourney Winner is...

I am going to stick my neck out on the always unpredictable NCAA college basketball tournament and pick a final four and ultimate winner.

Since my Va Tech Hokies are relegated to the NIT tourney again, I have no skin in the game but like millions of others will no doubt be filling out a bracket.

    My final four:

    1. Louisville
    2. Memphis
    3. Pittsburgh
    4. Oklahoma

The championship game should be Memphis v. Pitt, and I have ... Memphis winning the whole schimozzle!

I know Conference USA gets no respect, but I think the Tigers are underrated and having been to the finals last year have the guts and experience to go all the way this year.

Fair disclosure: There are no warranties on these picks ... and note that I finished near last in my picks last year.

Wrong Tigers Brian - Missouri Tigers all the way!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day! My dream final would be Missouri vs. North Carolina!!!

Brian, you're dreaming. Memphis won't make it that far. But you're close with PITT.

I remember a few years back, when a lady, who knows nothing about basketball, joined the office pool, and won. She picked each bracket winner based on team colors. Kinda like the stock market...just throw a dart on the big board. By the way, will the government tax office pools to help bailout the banks, AGAIN? (:>)
