This is not surprising (Being from Wisconsin). Wisconsin is right at the top of the list for the most highly taxed states in the Union (OHH and he plans to raise them again on everything from healthcare to beer) and we still come up short due to the Morons in Madison. Jim Doyle is one of the biggest abusers of government waste in this state's history. He gave health care to all poor families, caved on the tribal compacts, is a big supporter of the teacher's unions, sold our tobacco settlement for pennies on the dollar to cover his last budget, etc. He has me missing Tommy Thompson more and more..he gave us a surplus. Its too bad that what happens in Milwaukee and Madison is what is shoved down the throat of the rest of the state. Let's face it, no right minded business wants to open up shop in Wisconsin because they are taxed to death. Illinois makes fun of this fact all the time, still think we should open our own toll highways, just for our friends to the south. Oh and by the way....every state except three have a budget shortfall this year.

Barack Obama has clearly said that only the government can get the country out of this mess. The people continue to believe it. If and when the people come to the conclusion that Barack Obama is wrong, the kind of mindless spending outlined here will come to a halt because the people will demand that it stop. If the people fail to do so, the economic future of this country will be in great peril.

OK, everyone who is surprised at this raise your hands. What? No hands? Of course this happens when government gets more money. The only surprising thing is that they didn't claim more jobs creation.

Democratic governer, democratic controlled house and senate, what outcome did you expect?

It looks like Medicare takes the biggest amount. At over a billion, this state must be in deep debt with that expense. Thomas

So...what happens when Wisconsin (or any other state) gets used to having all this "stimulating" bailout money, only to discover that the Federal cash cow dried up? Has anyone considered that becoming dependent on unsustainable FREE Fed money is just plain S-T-U-P-I-D ? The Fed has NO MONEY! It's all OUR money! Uncle Sam, let US decide where our money goes...it's our money and we worked hard to make it and we deserve to keep control of it. Big, bloated government spells W-A-S-T-E every time!

This is pathetic. It does not make sense that the people in other states have to pay for the inefficiency of the politicians in Wisconsin.
