Grr.. People desperately trying to scrape some 'positives' from this economy is like knowing you have a terminally ill spouse or parent who is dying a slow, painful death, yet taking it as a 'positive' that the loved one has an appetite to eat some sherbert today. I am SO tired of the media trying to find positive spin when there is none to be found. SO tired of people losing thier jobs, their homes, unable to put food on the table.. SO tired of trillions spent on banks and other institutions- no accountabilty.. no end in sight.. SO tired of investors and stockbrokers venting that they can't figure out how to financially Profit from this situation until the Administration tells them the 'Rules'... SO tired of everyone thinking they have a solution and SO tired of the 'House M.D.' mentality where you desperately try a million things that make things worse, in the hope that you find the solution to the original problem and worry about the mess created later on~~~ Stop with the pretend optimism ~

Brian I just read on the Drudge Report that some taxpayer's dollars are going to train newspapers staffs in Minnosota for the net. Is this another waste of taxpayer's dollars? when the training could've been done through a private seminar? or did the publlisher loose money that he couldn't afford to pay for a net or an IT instructor?
