Brian, Love your coverage and insights on Fox Business. After many years of watching that "other" network, I'm glad there's some competition out there. I try to watch every morning (while taking care of my 2 and 3-year old girls before I head off to work). I wish more Democratic congress people would come on your show to debate - beyond their talking points, I haven't seen much substance in their arguements once they are pressed to explain beyond the talking points. I also hope anchors like you wil keep the pressure on whenever the government does things that are fundamental steps to changing out capitalistic system into a psuedo-socialistic system - like much of Western Europe. I am very distressed with the actions our government has taken these past 6 months. Thanks.

Brian, Figured the cost of the gold: $128 billion. Maybe I should invest in one of these. I might get a better return. Bob H ODU '88

Lets bring back the draft. It will cut down on the unemploymnet, unemployment compensation, help build a much larger armed forces and strengthen our positions around the world. Our young people will become disciplined, educated as they service our country proudly. The physical activity will help them lose weight and become more physically fit. This applies to both men and women. An all volunteer Army is costly as we must pay higher wages, bonuses etc. I am sure the armed forces would welcome these folks. Charles Rangel, Congressman from New York supports these efforts extensively. Thank You

Upset? I am laughing at the bailout, stimulus plan, TARP, TALF and all those Har*v*v*vard graduates. This weekend I am going to tour some Meth Lab homes owned by real estate brokers and banks. Then after I waist their time I am going to the local gentlemen's club and throw dollar bills at the 18 year old dancers. Oh yeah, Sunday I will be in church. Hahahaha. Have a great weekend.

RE: Discussion at 6:15 P. M. today on Fox Business. I remember WW II as a child. I remember my peers wondering at inflation in 1948 (price of candy at local store). I remember the LBJ tax cut of 1964 which was taken back when tax filing time came the following year. I remember a lot of things since then, which were all BIG Gov't. screw-ups. That lady on there saying the government is the only hope is to be pitied for naiviete and not studying history.

Is this going to be a strictly blog thing or are you planning a segment on the tube? If you're interested, I have a few things that may be of interest to you. A copy of " A Short History of the American Navy", by John Spears, 1907 edition with plates. Some pics of the Sino Japanese Hostilities in 1937, that my Dad took at the time; and other family stuff related to the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc. And some family history going back to 1632 on this continent. Email me, and I'll share what I can. Looking forward to it. :)
