Dick Morris is just reiterating what Bush#41(1989)initiated when he implimented the grand scheme of "The New World Order"! I'll never forget ,I was teaching at Smith College, and almost fell out of my chair.

Re: S&L crises of the 80's with the "RTC",(Resolution Trust Corp.)cost the taxpayers Billions, not Millions(typo)approx.$200Bn,and a return of approx.$1.6Bn. +/_,and with the "30 year government bonds" created , the taxpayers is on the hook until 2013! Now back to todays storyline regarding these CEO's of failing Institutioan Banks buying up shares. If these banks are Nationalized such as Citigroup, Bac,they should never be aloud to re-use their "Franchise" name again! That is,once the government gobbles up all the bad assets of the trouble banks, the same people who ran them into the ground, will never, ever,be able to Incorporate a new bank under the existing names. Thanks Brian

Brian, Great work.....now, that being said, I am sickened by the actions and attitude of Rep. Barney Frank. Fox did a great job bringing this story to light. I have had the opportunity to watch our Government official throughout the bailout fiasco and I have to say that my confidence has been shattered. We as America went through quite an ordeal to elect the President to lead our country. At the same time, we as America have no input as to who runs our congress or senate. I am angered beyond belief at the audacity of Frank, Pelosi and many others who feel that because they have the majority representation, have the power to run our country into the ground. In two years there needs to be a "real" change in our political leadership. We as Americans need to reevaluate what we stand for and hold our politicians to the same standards. How can we have "change" currently when we appoint people to positions who have been around forever. There's no change. My only glimmer of hope is that there will be real change in the near future. We cannot stand for this any longer. I, as an American citizen, have pledged to myself that I will do all I can to make our country great again. Thanks to you Brian and Fox for providing us with the truth.

Hi Brian, In regard to Time Geithner, I am attempting to organize grassroots support among fellow Republicans to hold our Republican Senators accountable for their support of Geithner for Treasury Secretary. I wrote a blog called “It is time to give our Republican Party an Enema” at http://www.Gopenema.com with a petition at the bottom and it seems to be getting traction. Thank you for your great column.

Libs have one weakness:they think they're know it alls. They have the power in Washington but thier left wing press compadres are falling apart. I was watching O'Reilly and Bernie Goldberg on this and the assestment was interesting. Especially when NBC/MSNBC are spewing hate on the air which is so unprofessional. The left has aleinated thier veiwers which includes thier own liberals. Think it's time to call in Rocky and Bullwinkle to do takeover/makeoever of NBC. Imagine Moose and Squirrel freaking some lefties on why thier network is still in the stone age. Pardon my humor here.

Congress has it all fingered out; first they raise the cigarette taxes on the poor who smoke, and then they get their cocaine and meth conections to import more drugs into the USA at discount prices for the poor. They know the only way to control the masses is with drugs and higher taxes. "Turn on, tune in, drop out" and smoke, smoke, smoke that cigarette. Har*v*v*v*ard quacks!

Just a general comment. The more energy you put into any system, the more unstable it becomes. This is just as true with the economy as it is with a physical system such as a water or electrical transmission system. Our usual approach in the markets and business is to drive the system just as hard as we can (more energy)in order to maximize our profits, etc. We should not be surprised when the system breaks down.

Well aren't you just the little fountain of good news. I think I'll go hide in a corner now.

I agree with most of what Dick Morris says and we are advancing towards socialism rapidly...the sad thing to me is that former pres Bush was leading the way prior to the big O.
