Thank you Joe the plumber. I hope Obama will always be remembered as Robin Hood. I pray his comments to you will haunt him enough to change his ways. I believe it may be enough to cost him losing his dream of bringing socialism to this country.

Welcome to the USSR of O. Read the story of how the bailout is going to triple in cost with NO consequences for the banks. Then sell your stuff and move to the third world.

Has the silent majority heard enough? Have they awakened from their sleep? From reading all the posts, I think someone should notify the liberal press that Obama may not be winning this race after all. His comment of "spreading the wealth" may have been the final straw. Americans who get up and go to work every day, pay taxes and watch those who don't,(ex: New Orleans residents after Katrina), sit on their porches and wait for the check to come in, need to speak loudly and clearly on Nov. 4. Get out and vote America and vote for McCain and Palin!!

"The Gang of Three --Obama, Pelosi and Reid-- are already planning how to spend your money on their friends. Markets are watching the race closely, and a McCain surge now would be the beginning of a huge restoration of confidence in the American commitment to growth."--Hugh Hewitt (10/16/08)

Dear Arleen I can explain what spreding the wealth is. First year you take it from the rich, the second year from the midlle class and third year everybody is poor.I am not kidding because i experienced it some 40 years ago. Just look at Cuba,Venezuala,North Korea and other countries whih followed this methodology. If you take the money from investors who is going to give you job.Yes for a while you can argue that the government can give you job.Trust me I have studied Marx/Leninism becase I had to.And it is not fan to watch the presidential candidate even thinking about this idea. How wuold you like the government to come to your house and tell you to move into smaller one because they need it for the larger family. What id Obama proposing is the same exept it may take some time to get to that point All what I am asking you to think about it and when you are still comfortable with it then vote Obama.I hope most of us will understand and thik about it. I do not need to thik it over-I have experience it.

Brian I cought your news piece from South Carolina last night on Cavuto. Real interesting on the pessimism that CEOs have on the economy. I can tell honestly since I've followed the news media, the liberal New York media made some critical mistakes this election cycle. The biggest mistake commentors, left wing journalist have done is this:they attacked the average joes, first Gov. Palin of Alaska and now Joe the Plumber of Toledo,Ohio. From my perspective if I was a news producer I called these attacks uncalled for and unethical. Even on left wing talk radio Norman Goldman of Los Angeles, who sits fro Ed Schultz often, called Joe "Unamerican." Professionally it shows thier arrogance weakness. A smart journalist would do research. But not bash. Overall those of you in the Business press which I include CNBC,Bloomberg Television haven't attacked anyone. So some of you deserve the awards. Honestly I suspect in the next few years: NBC,CBS,and ABC to fade into the sunset or morph into another form. The audiences aren't paying attention to them anymore. Who knows even the View could fade in time. Last night I started reading Revulionary Wealth by Alvin and Heidi Toffler which they examine the new economy, new wealth and where its going to come from. I just got started on it last night. But they're looking forward and they see the consumer rather the prosumer generating the powershift. Just imagine how a prosumer with a new inoventive idea could shake up the big dinosuar three like Fox Broadcasting did when it debuted twenty years ago.

The lack of knowledge comes from our failing public school system. Take a look at what your kids know about American history... Ask anyone who the speaker of the house is or who is the Vice President. - Most don't understand how the basic tax system works. Who really pays the majority of taxes,... and it's NOT the middle class. 80% of the tax revenue is paid by the TOP 20% of income earners. They are dumbing down the education system and not producing people that are logical common sense thinkers. The Democrats are doing this and have been for years. The teachers unions are in bed with the Democrats and our tax dollars that fund public education are getting passed on to the teachers unions from teacher salary union dues. Think about it,. you are paying teachers, they pay the union, and then the union sends helps to elect Democrats that are in line with MORE PAY,. LESS accountability,. smaller class sizes etc,. all of which will create more burden for tax payers and not produce better results. More Money is not the issue,. CUT SPENDING and SPEND what you have. - Some of the best schools are run on the least amount of money per student. IT ALL STARTS WITH EDUCATION - Jason

I am not clear about what "spreading the wealth" means. Does it mean that top executives will have fewer swimming pools and middle class people will be able to make their mortgage payments? Does it mean that the millions of people in the US who can't go on a $400,000 retreat with government bailout money can eat better or afford health insurance? In that case, is "spreading the wealth," as opposed to "amassing the wealth" in just a few hands, such a terrible thing? Granted our efforts should be rewarded, but when wealth is ammassed through cutthroat means, cunning, Golden parachutes to executives of failed companies, taking adavanage of others, and wealth at any cost, maybe we should at least rethink those policies that have such a result.

When was the last time a politician displayed his own designed flag. (1933 Germany) Recently I have seen the Obama flag standing next to the US flag. It looks like his flag has been designed to replace the US flag that stands behind the desk in the oval office. This man is not running for President of the United States but is salavating to be the President of the World. We are headed for tough times in this great country. God protect us when we all will be required to wear the Obama symbol on our lapel. His plan is to take from the rich to give to the poor until we are all poor and must rely on the government to exist.

Hello fellow citizens. On Nov 4 if BHO is elected and you happen to have a few dollars left after recent events, spend it, spend it all, and quickly. You may not have much time left with it so you might as well enjoy it. Dont worry about your mortgage, credit cards and living expenses- it will be taken care of. After all whats yours is mine and mine is yours, right, or is it whats mine is property of the U.S. Gov't? I'm confused on that matter. At any rate with the apparent rise of socialism it won't matter if we all were hardworking, mortgage paying, taxpaying citizens or not- your home, cars, possessions, money aren't really yours anyway. If it is deemed that you don't really NEED any of the above and someone else does, well you get the picture. If we continue on this path allotments for home, car, food, general living supplies, are not far behind. There is only one way to prevent things such as these, just say no. Once upon a time the citizens of this country stood up against those that would take from us that which we had worked for and earned, and we prevailed. But we did it together, side by side all working together. So vote for yourself, speak for yourself, stand up for yourself. Be heard be recognized. Help yourself don't expect others to do it for you. If we all don't stand up, how did the Pledge go, it after all has been banned, (United we stand and Divided we fall),then we will fall, we will fail. Good luck to us all.

OK guys. What do we do about this?....and when do we begin?

Well, I'd like to thank all you folks for paying me to learn combat skills. It appears that I may have one more chance to use them to defend this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

In response to Richie: The New Deal did not grow the economy. "Trickle-Up" economics as implemented in FDR's alphabet soup served only to prevent starvation and weakly mitigate the mass unemployment. The US did not start to experience real economic growth until Lend-Lease spurred the reindustrialization of the country. It was Adolph Hitler who brought about the end of the Great Depression. Unfortunately, when the stock market crashed in 1929, FDR did not go on TV to reassure the American people as Senator Biden believes. In actuality, President Hoover's response was to raise taxes to replace "lost" tax revenue and levied high tariffs ostensibly to protect American industry. In 2008, we are experiencing a similar reduction of market value and a presidential candidate promising to raise taxes and "unilaterally renegotiate" NAFTA (tariffs, anyone?). God forbid that we are reduced to hoping the Russians invade Europe to bring us out of the Great Depression II.

Obama already wants to curtail free speech, give your money to the lazy crackheads and tax your small business to extinction. I want to know what's going to happen when Obama tries to take your guns away? Maybe that will be the wake up call this country needs for revolt.

To Richie who wrote: It was called “The New Deal”, my friend, and President Franklin D. Roosevelt brought us out of the great depression. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, it was not the New Deal that got us out of the Depression, it was called World War 2. And the stock market didn't come back until the early 50's.

Spreading the Wealth, everybody does it. Was the stimulus pakage "top down" or "bottom up" economic policy? The ideal of the stimulus pakage was to get money in the hands of regular people so they can spend it, in turn that would stimulate the economy. Stimulus refund or tax cut, it is still amounts to the same, money in the hands of the consumer. That is bottom up economic policy. How is taking $700 billion dollars from tax payers and giving it to banks not spreading the wealth? How is that not socialism? How is bailing out private companies not socialism?

I was planning on retiring in January but hell, most of my savings have disappeared. No problem. I am going to go ahead and retire now, quit paying my mortgage, get my rate refinanced and reduced, and apply for my tax credits. I will be so much better off. Danm I was stupid for working, saving and paying all those bills for all these years.

Obama and the Socialist maniacs have finally revealed their real intentions. Obama has been faking like he is some kind of moderate while all along he intends to do all he can (his vision of "Change") to institute Socialism. Given how little we know about this man other than his radical left connections (Wright, Ayers, ACORN Group, etc.), he might just be a communist. "Spreading your Wealth around" is a failed strategy...it has failed over and over again in history...it lowers the standard of living. Obama has declared war on the "American Dream" of being successful as reflected by the accumulation of some wealth and he has formally welcomed in the era of open class warfare against wealth in America. As a People in a Nation for the People we need to do all that is possible to stop this radical leftist movement...sign me up for the American Resistance.

UNASKED QUESTION #1: Okay, Mr. Biden, if it's so "patriotic" to pay more in taxes, and since taxpayers can pay extra to the Treasury if they want to, just how much extra taxes have YOU sent to the IRS with YOUR tax returns, "Mr. Patriot"? UNASKED QUESTION #2: Mr. Obama, have you noticed the rotten quality of life for the average guy like Joe the Plumber in countries where they believe in "spreading the wealth around"?

I'd like to reply to Jack OF Diamonds: You're absolutely right--the Tax Code is a 66,000 page asset transfer/means test document and it should be abolished. Problem is, now one is willing to do what's necessary to try anything else because of the special interest goodies locked up in the existing code.

Barack Obama only said to "Joe The Plumber's" face what the Democrat Party has been saying in it's platforms and policies for decades. That people are suddenly surprised or shocked is more troubling than the substance and implications of Obama's comment because it means that people haven't really been listening closely or just haven't cared. The people will have a chance to voice their opinions on Barack Obama come election day. Let's see what the verdict is.

An Obama win is a win for all conservatives, he will run the economy into the ground, over tax us, put more people on the government dole, Pelosi, Ried, Schumer, Waters, Dood, Frank and all the other leftist will be blamed. This will help pave the way for new republican revolution like we have never seen before, that is my wish. In the mean time pay down your debt, buy nothing other than essentials, save your money stand by and watch the debauchery unfold. 4 years from now we will have the last laugh. What would happen if all of the people in the US who make 250+ decided not to work any more?
