Palm Beach County will get millions to buy foreclosed homes Palm Beach County will receive $27.7 million of the $4 billion the federal government plans to dole out to state and local governments to help them buy and rehab homes that were foreclosed or abandoned during the real estate crash. I need a house , I have been waiting for four years for home prices to come down and now I have to compete with my own government that is using my own tax dollars to bid against me. I don`t even have a printing press.

Well, everyone is getting something alright. But I'm not so sure you could call it a "Trophy". Especially since we have to bend over and grab our ankles to accept it.

A great artical, thank you for sharing it. I feel better there is more people out there that feel the same as me. BAILOUTS are welfare for the rich. Could a CEO really be worth over $30 million a year plus bonuses? Are board members really worth the hundreds of thousands they get for showing up once a month to be entertained? Are they really worth letting them keep their jobs, while they send worker jobs out of the country? And then ask the American people to invest in their company. It has not been a free market for a long time. It is just harder to keep it from showing. Publicly Traded companies are just like the mafia, a cartel. There is no talk of common sence, or your job and career will get whacked.

That's a good analogy of what's taking place.Of course, when "everyone gets a trophy",you lose the risk of failing. With no risk, why even have shareholders,er,I mean parents,in the stands buying, oops,I mean ,cheering them on?

Won't this be great??? Next they will make all fat ugly women the same as all the other women... so that will mean my wife will look, act, feel and be an emo just like your wife. We will all be the same.... except for the ruling elites... they will be different cuz this kind of model wouldn't work for them, they HAVE to be different. Then... after all that is in place, we can all shave our heads and have absolutely no differences in appearance so that no one person looks different than someone else. Let the good times role.

Wow... so true. Great article. But unfortunately, I think that mentality is so ingrained that there's no going back.

Yes Brian, for years the pinheads in Washington have been moving our entire country (schools, business and education) to the level of the lowest common denominator; the stupid, lack initiative and irresponsible! The strangest part of this is that, apparently we like it! Our ancestors would be shocked and most likely would have kept us from being had they known. Unfortunately today, it's too easy to see that some get for free and so those that do know better move to support those that are giving for free. Someday the free part will end and the cold hard reality will hit all of them right between the eyes! And most will not like the view. That someday is getting closer all the time.
